SUMMER DRAMA: School for Nerds (Ages 8-15)
Spend the week with workshops in acting, improv, make-up, and costume design, all in preparation for a performance of School for Nerds on Friday. Brawny Preparatory High School, home of the fighting Hippopotami and national winner of every sports award known to man, is about to be closed because it has failed to graduate a single student in its entire history! So who rides to their academic rescue? Nerds, of course. Five very bright, but unwelcome, nerds. You can never guess what will happen next when the frustrated nerds teach academics to the uninterested jocks, while the frustrated jocks teach athletics to the uncoordinated nerds in a series of hilarious scenes.

Don't Stop Believin'
Put everything that you've learned over the last two weeks to the test! Get ready to put on a fully staged musical in one week: Don't Stop Believin'! The Ethel Lampert Community Center has seen better days and my soon see its final days unless someone finds a way to save it. From basketball players to computer nerds to artists, these down-on-their-luck inner-city kids have no place else to go, and losing the center would mean losing their home away from home. When they hear of a new television reality contest for glee clubs, they decide to form their own and try out. Bursting with large, rock and pop chorus numbers and a powerful, anthemic finale, this energetic, contemporary musical will bring out the gleek in everyone!
