May 13th

LCP is partnering with the Lake Coeur d'Alene Cruises! We will be producing the summer PIRATES CRUISES! CLICK HERE to download the audition notice. Auditions are May 15th and 17th at the Resort.

April 30th

Jillian Kramer is already hard at work planning various Spring and Summer camps for our local youth.  Jillian is the perfect addition to our staff. Playhouse Prep will feature various workshops, classes, camps, and performance based environments for preschoolers up to adults.  She is currently planning the entire Summer and the 2010-2011 season as well as creating scholarship opportunities!
 
For those of you anxiously waiting to find out what is in store for the FREE youth production of the year, we have a bot of news... it will feature an eight week process and will take the stage the weekend of Feb 3rd! 

April 26th

Popular metal artist, Alex Robinson, has agreed to build the new 50yr Foundation Sculpture!  It is this sculpture that only 50 donors will be recognized on!  To learn more about the foundation CLICK HERE. To learn more about Alex and his studio, visit his studio's website... THE COLLECTIVE

April 25th

Head to the Harding Family Center on May 7 for a dramatic staged reading of The Crucible. Tickets are $7, and all proceeds benefit the Lake City Playhouse. More info HERE.

Happy Earth Day! We just announced the cast of our June production, The Taffetas! Sara Briggs, Emily Cleveland, Breanna Duffy and Kylene Peden will hit the Playhouse stage June 4-20. See you there!

Spring Into Singing! A Showcase of Vocal Talent will be performed at 7:30 p.m. Saturday, April 17 at the Playhouse. $7, general admission. Proceeds support the Playhouse, so come on out and enjoy the musical stylings of Bill Rhodes, Terry Seaton, Julie Powell and more!

We are proud to welcome George Green as the new Executive Artistic Director of the Lake City Playhouse! Check back soon to see some of the new ideas our fearless leader will be bringing to Kootenai County's only community theatre.
